Contact MSN Customer Service to Recover MSN Email Password

Changing password of your email accounts every few months is a recommended and good practice to ensure account security. However, if you have forgotten to change it and unfortunately your account has been hacked, you can recover the password. We will be discussing the password recovery process in context with MSN email service in the post ahead. MSN emailing service is Hotmail which is now Outlook. So, we will be discussing here the steps to recover your Outlook email password. Please note that this method will prove helpful only if you have provided the recovery options at the time of sign up.
  • Search for the official Outlook password recovery page and select ‘I forgot my password’ option there. Click on ‘Reset’ option.
  •  Type the email address and captcha correctly and click ‘Next’ button.
  • Two options will appear: ‘Email me a rest link’ and ‘Send a code to my phone.’ Select the option which is accessible to you.
  •  A password reset link will be sent on alternate email id if you select the first option. Sign in to your alternate id, open the mail and click on the link to reset your password. Enter the new password and you are done.
  • A code will be sent to your mobile number if you choose the second option. Enter the code in the code box and submit it. Reset a new password and click ‘Next’ button to finish the process. You are done.
Once you have reset/recover your password, Microsoft takes you to the recovery option page to update your alternate email id, phone number or security question. You can do this if your password was changed through unauthorized access. Also, we recommend to change the password of your alternate email id too and of all the services where you were using the same password (your old password.) This is because when hackers get access to any password, they try it on all other services in a hope to gain access over other accounts too. They know that most of the users keep same password for different services. That is why at the beginning of this post it was said that frequent password change is a good practice.
